El Mapa Cultural del Uruguay, a tool created by the Dirección Nacional de Cultura, which allows artists, managers and citizens to access to key and georeferenced information of the cultural sector, in an organized and categorized way.
Through this application users could know how are distributed: cultural institutions, creative industries, traditional festivals and book fairs across the country. While you can access the information from each department differentially, seeing everything in it or selecting according to categories and sub-categories of interest.
The web platform was developed using InnovaPortal while the App is based on MobileUI, an open source framework developed by InnovaAge ™, lightweight, optimized for Phonegap, which allows to develop in a fast and simple way Professional Apps, multiplatform, with user interface auto-scale adaptable to various screen sizes. The administration of the content of the App is done through InnovaPortal in a unified architecture with web platform enabling the reuse of labor between the different channels of content distribution.
Therefore, the application can be accessed from a standard browser or by downloading it from Apple Store, Android or Windows Phone.
